Montye Jabbar Purify is a storyteller, mentor, and community builder shaped by legacy and lived experience. I started in rural Oklahoma, a town of just 8,000 people, where identity, resilience, and purpose were learned early and carried forward.

I’m a proud descendant of the Black Seminole Freedmen, a graduate of Kennesaw State University with a degree in Public Relations, a Seminole High School Hall of Fame inductee, and a recipient of the Image Award from 100 Black Men of North Atlanta. I’ve also been recognized among Top 40 Black Business Professionals & Entrepreneurs in Austin, Texas.

For more than 25 years, I’ve served as a top-earning frontline sales professional in the vacation home and automotive industries, personally interviewing and connecting with an estimated 7,000 people from around the world. That daily, human-to-human work sharpened my ability to listen deeply, understand perspective, and honor the power of story across cultures.

Alongside my professional career, I’ve spent 25 years mentoring youth and building community programs across Florida, Georgia, Oklahoma, and Texas, helping young people discover confidence, direction, and belief in their own potential.

Today, I’m energized to introduce the Life2Media Story Flywheel™—a living system designed to allow story to shape human potential, activate purpose, and preserve legacy long after I’m gone.

Dr. Alvin Miles is a respected executive leader, strategist, and coach dedicated to unlocking human potential and building organizations that thrive through purpose-driven leadership.

As President and CEO of Miles Management International, LLC, a minority-owned, family-operated B2B strategic advisory and executive coaching firm, Dr. Miles has spent more than a decade providing strategic and operational leadership to organizations seeking sustainable growth and high-performance cultures. His work spans talent acquisition and retention, executive and team leadership, organizational strategy, and the development of resilient, values-aligned teams.

Certified in Executive and Business Coaching, Dr. Miles partners with senior leaders, executive teams, and employee resource groups to deliver transformational impact through customized advisory engagements, keynote presentations, executive roundtables, and leadership development initiatives. His approach blends strategic insight with human-centered leadership, helping organizations navigate complexity while honoring people, culture, and long-term vision.

As a member of the Life2Media Foundation Board of Governance, Dr. Miles brings a deep commitment to equity, leadership development, and community empowerment. His perspective strengthens the Foundation’s mission to elevate human stories, cultivate empathy, and translate lived experience into meaningful social impact.

Derek DeSalvia is a senior executive leader with more than two decades of experience driving customer-centered strategy, operational excellence, and brand integrity across global hospitality and experiential organizations.

As Executive Vice President & Chief Customer Officer at Hilton Grand Vacations (HGV), Derek oversees Club Service, Inventory Management, Resort Operations, and Brand Standards. He leads the company’s enterprise-wide customer service strategy, ensuring exceptional experiences for owners, members, and homeowners’ associations while maintaining strong compliance and brand alignment.

Derek also serves as a Board Member for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida, supporting initiatives that empower young people through mentorship, character development, and opportunity. His board service reflects his belief that leadership must extend beyond performance metrics and into developing environments where human potential can flourish.

As a member of the Life2Media Foundation Board of Governance, Derek contributes deep expertise in brand stewardship, customer experience, and organizational leadership—helping advance the Foundation’s mission to elevate human stories and create sustainable community impact.

He holds a Master’s degree in Management and Human Resources and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Central Florida.
